Convinced that pregnant women with the letter "M" on their palms are direct descendants of Mary, the Mother of Christ, the cult targets them for murder to thwart any potential divine intervention.
The story begins with the brutal murder of Emily Carter, a devout Catholic, which sends shockwaves through the community. Detective Sarah Williams, assigned to the case, soon discovers a disturbing pattern linking the victims.
