The arrival of spring kids has given hope of finally putting the goat dairy business in the black, but finance isn't making the top of Carmen's list of woes. Josh is ready to get married and so is she, but maybe not to him. They have been childhood playmates and everyone assumes they will soon be husband and wife. Then her roommate's brother arrives for a visit. From the beginning, sparks fly between them - the kind of sparks she had begun to think only existed in fairy tales.
But Alex has once been bitten by the love bug and isn't ready to go through that hurt again. He wants a relationship without the commitment. Carmen is conservative enough to believe the relationship should come after the commitment - even when you're 25.
